Pop Lyric!Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Rellim Interactive Gaming, LLC ("we", "us") handles information in the Pop Lyric! mobile app and on www.pop-lyric.com.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and the display name you choose. If you sign in with Apple, we receive what Apple shares with us, which may be a private relay email address.
- Game data: your scores, game history, the songs you've used, the word packs you play, and the character you pick.
- Lyrics you submit: the text of your answers, which we check against our song database.
Microphone and speech recognition
When you sing or speak an answer, the app uses Apple's speech recognition to turn your voice into text. Apple may process that audio under Apple's privacy policy. We receive only the resulting text. We don't store recordings of your voice on our servers.
Camera and highlight videos
If you allow camera access, the app records your game with the front camera so it can make a highlight clip. These videos stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Temporary video files are deleted automatically. A video leaves your device only if you share or save it yourself, for example to Photos or a social app. Once shared, it's handled by the app or service you shared it with.
How we use information
- To run your account and the game, including scoring, game history and resuming games.
- To keep the game fair, including rate limits and preventing repeated answers.
- To fix bugs and improve the game.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't show ads, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking tools.
Service providers
We store account and game data with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, which processes it on our behalf. Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and game data while your account is active. To delete your account and its data, email support@pop-lyric.com from the address on your account.
Children
Pop Lyric! is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date above.
